Process: For creating my metal piece, I printed a template from online. I then cut it and was able to trace the individual pieces out onto the glass. Once I had the shapes that I wanted, I had to grind them down to one another to make sure they fit together. I then cleaned my pieces with alcohol. Once that was done, I wrapped each piece in copper foiling tape. I put flux on them and melted the solder onto the copper foiling tape. I then began to apply flux and use solder to stick the pieces together. Once stuck, I went over the cracks with the soldering iron to make sure everything was smooth and perfect. The most difficult part of the project was getting all the shapes to fit together perfectly based off of each other and resemble the template.
